Terms & Conditions

Last updated: January 2026. These terms should be reviewed by legal counsel in the host country of registration.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Youth Advance Global (“YAG”) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Code of Conduct. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and applications.
  • Accounts are for individual use only. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. YAG is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Application Process

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
  • All applications are reviewed at YAG's discretion based on published criteria.
  • A non-refundable processing fee (currently $20 USD) is required to submit an application. See our Refund Policy for exceptions.
  • Providing false information in an application is grounds for immediate rejection and account suspension.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit fraudulent applications or sponsorship requests
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or YAG staff
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts
  • Scrape, spider, or automated-collect data from the platform
  • Use the platform to distribute spam or unsolicited messages

6. Intellectual Property

  • Content you submit (research papers, abstracts, motivation statements) remains your intellectual property.
  • By submitting content, you grant YAG a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted abstracts and titles in conference proceedings, promotional materials, and the platform.
  • The YAG name, logo, and platform design are the property of Youth Advance Global.

7. Payments

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal.
  • Prices are stated in USD unless otherwise specified.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
  • YAG is not responsible for additional fees charged by your bank or payment provider (e.g., currency conversion fees).

8. Sponsorships

Sponsorship awards are made at YAG's discretion based on published criteria. Sponsorship funds must be used for their intended purpose. Misuse of sponsorship funds may result in a request for repayment and permanent platform ban.

9. Disclaimers

  • The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • YAG does not guarantee visa approval, travel arrangements, or conference outcomes.
  • YAG assists with visa documentation but is not a visa service or immigration advisor.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YAG's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you have paid to YAG in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

YAG reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be specified upon formal registration]. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
