Refund Policy

Membership Fee

YAG access is a membership subscription, currently $2.99 USD per month. This replaces the old one-time $20 application processing fee: submitting an application is included in your membership rather than charged separately. You are billed automatically each month on your renewal date until you cancel.

Renewal

Your membership renews automatically every month at the then-current price, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. We do not send a reminder before each renewal charge; you can review your next billing date at any time from your account settings.

Cancellation

• You can cancel your membership at any time from your account settings. No phone call or email is required.
• Cancelling stops future renewals immediately.
• Cancelling does not refund the current billing period. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• An application you already submitted continues through review even after you cancel. A lapsed membership only prevents submitting new applications.

Refund Eligibility

Not Refundable: Completed Billing Periods

Monthly membership charges are non-refundable once billed. This applies regardless of whether you submit an application during that period, and regardless of your application's outcome (accepted, waitlisted, or rejected).

Refundable: Billing Errors

We will refund a membership charge in full if:

• You were charged twice for the same billing period (a duplicate charge).
• A charge was made after you had already cancelled.
• A system error caused an incorrect amount to be charged.

Refunds in this category are processed within 5 to 10 business days to the original payment method.

Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional cases, such as documented medical emergencies, we will review refund requests for a recent charge on a case by case basis. Contact support@youthadvanceglobal.com with your account email and relevant documentation.

Sponsorship and Refunds

Your membership fee is separate from any sponsorship awarded. Receiving a sponsorship does not entitle you to a refund of past or current membership charges, since membership covers platform access rather than conference participation costs.

Conference Cancellation

If YAG cancels a conference edition, any accepted application for that edition can be transferred to a future edition at no extra cost. This does not affect your membership billing, which continues to cover your ability to apply to other open conferences.

How to Cancel or Request a Refund

1. Log in to your account and go to account settings to cancel your membership at any time.
2. For a billing error, email support@youthadvanceglobal.com with your account email and the date of the charge in question.
