From application to participation — a transparent, merit-based process designed to be fair and accessible to candidates from any country.
Create Your Profile
Sign up for a free YAG account and complete your professional profile. Include your educational background, current affiliation, country, and areas of interest. A complete profile is required before you can submit an application.
Your profile helps our review committee understand your background and match you with the most relevant track and opportunities.
Browse Conferences
Explore upcoming YAG editions hosted in cities around the world. Each conference page shows dates, location, available tracks, capacity, and application deadlines.
We announce new editions several months in advance, giving you time to plan and prepare your application.
Submit Your Application
Choose your preferred track and role (Attendee, Presenter, or Panelist). Write a motivation statement explaining why you want to participate and what you hope to contribute. Optionally, submit a research abstract or project summary.
Applications are saved as drafts automatically — you can leave and return at any time. Your application is only submitted when you confirm and proceed to payment.
Pay the Processing Fee
A $20 USD non-refundable processing fee is required to submit your application. This fee covers application review, identity and background verification, visa documentation support, fraud prevention, and secure payment processing.
The fee is refundable if your application has not yet entered the review stage. See our refund policy for details. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
Application Review
Every application is reviewed by our committee using a structured rubric. We evaluate relevance to the chosen track, quality of motivation statement, academic or professional background, and presentation proposals (if applicable).
Review typically takes 2–4 weeks after the application deadline closes. You will be notified by email of the decision. You can also apply for sponsorship during this period.
Join the Cohort
Accepted participants receive a detailed welcome package with logistics information, visa support documents (if needed), accommodation details, and a curated conference itinerary.
You'll join a cohort of selected participants from around the world. After the conference, you'll remain connected through the YAG alumni network.
